Last night, 4/19/2007, Julie and I went to see "Wicked" at the Pantages in Hollywood.  It was great! And funny and sad.  The entire cast was great and Megan Hilty who played Glinda was especially funny playing the "blonde" witch.

I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.  The only reason I don't give it five stars is the music.  It's not that the music isn't good, but for me it wasn't great.  (Keep in mind this is my opinion.)  For me only a few songs were really good.

But Stephen Schwartz who wrote the words and music did tell a believable back story for all the important characters that all seems to fit into place.  I won't give away what the story is for those who plan to see it.  While it's mostly ok for children, small children might not understand it or have as much fun as the original movie.  There's only so much special effects you can do on stage.
