I built a custom Hosting Signup application in .Net 2.0 to work with Helm 3.2.10 that automates most if not all of the signup functions needed.

These are just some of the features:

1. Three easy steps to signing up
2. Provider Model - custom providers were built for domain functions and payments
3. Domain name checking - it uses Ajax-like functionality to check the availability of a domain name
4. Detects whether domain is available or not and asks if you want to transfer it if its not available
5. All domain extensions are available, depending on the registrar you are with
6. Customer sign up - one form for all the information for the customer
7. Billing information - collect credit card information that connects to your payment processor
8. Auto-detection of Plans - you can easily create a sign up application for regular user signups and reseller signups using the same application
9. Plug in your own domain registrar information and payment information to make it work for you
